Center for Translational Research
Rarely does one study incite practice change. The Center for Translational Research bridges the gap between the laboratory bench and the bedside by combining research findings, identifying best practices and helping patients, families, consumers and practitioners answer questions about how to make health care decisions.
The Center for Translational Research collects information from a range of sources and source-types, including case studies, formal studies and expert opinions. This breadth of scope creates actionable steps founded in the best information available and results in a valuable resource for practitioners and policy-makers.

As the demand for healthcare grows at an alarming pace, so does the need for evidence that is accessible and applicable. A systematic review is one important vehicle to address the growing demand for healthcare evidence.
In this three-day systematic review workshop, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the systematic review process
- Develop a research question that is answerable using a systematic review of effectiveness
- Work hands-on with JBISUMARI systematic review software
- Draft a systematic review protocol with mentorship of expert faculty
This workshop is designed for anyone with an interest in healthcare evidence: clinicians, researchers, policy makers, administrators. Previous systematic review experience is not necessary.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions! (firstname.lastname@example.org).
