MS in Kinesiology
The graduate program in the Department of Kinesiology provides students the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical basis of human movement.
Each student will gain knowledge relative to human movement through classroom studies and intensive research experiences led by a faculty mentor. At the completion of the master’s degree, students should be able to develop strategies for solving both practical problems and research questions within the disciplines, and integrate movement-based principles into a variety of activities taking place in laboratory, educational, clinical and athletic settings.
Student may choose an emphasis in exercise physiology, exercise psychology, motor control, nutrition, physical activity and chronic disease, and sport psychology. To learn more about each specialization area, use the links below:
