Can I still work while in the program?
Last Updated February 21, 2024
DNAP students are encouraged to work during the initial eight months of the program. However, it's strongly discouraged during the later stages as it may interfere with academic and clinical experiences.
If you must work, you need to inform the program director in writing, providing details of the job and hours to ensure no schedule conflicts.
Remember, a student cannot work in anesthesia practice, and clinical students shouldn't work the shift just before their clinical time during Phase II.
