Advanced Pain Management Fellowship Curriculum
A model designed to enhance overall well-being.
Our curriculum is structured like a pyramid. It starts with the foundational theory of CRNA pain management at the base. Moving up, it covers imaging, assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological and alternative treatments and interventional pain strategies. At the top is comprehensive pain treatment.
Various elements relevant to the program are included throughout the pyramid. Developmental and socio-cultural aspects are around the base and sides (1-5). Psychological and spiritual elements are at the highest level, comprehensive pain treatment.
GPA Requirement
- Enrollment during the entire duration is required to pass any course
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required to graduate
- Clinical practicums are graded as pass or no credit
Grading Scale
The Advanced Pain Management program uses the following scale in determining course grades.
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
F = £ 69
Any 'no credit' grade or grade lower than a 'B' in any course will lead to dismissal from the program.
