Prerequisites

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree with a 24-hour kinesiology concentration or equivalent from an accredited institution. Applicants with a natural sciences concentration outside of kinesiology may also be considered.
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 required for master’s program consideration.
  • Non-native English speakers should achieve the following TOEFL scores:
    • Computer-based test: 250 or higher
    • Internet-based test: 100 or higher
    • Written test: 600 or higher

Annual admissions depend on available spots and applicant qualifications.

Research Assistantship

A research assistantship is a form of financial support provided to graduate students in exchange for helping faculty members or researchers with their projects. It offers students valuable research experience while funding their education.

Responsibilities typically include tasks like literature reviews, data collection, analysis and administrative duties related to research projects.
