The Davies School admits up to 23 graduate students each year.

All required materials must be submitted and verified by CSDCAS no later than 11:59pm EST on January 15.

A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

No. Both our MS in speech-language pathology and emphasis in bilingual speech-language pathology programs are only offered with a fall start. See Ph.D. in Health Sciences webpage for more information about the doctoral program.

Yes, so long as the student has taken all required prerequisite coursework:

  • Audiology
  • Aural Rehabilitation
  • Speech and Hearing Science
  • Phonetics
  • Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing Mechanisms
  • Language Development
  • Clinical Methods
  • Neurological Substrates of Communication and Swallowing
  • One course in the following:
    • Statistics
    • Biology
    • Physics or Chemistry
    • Social Science

Students are also required to obtain 25 hours of guided clinical observations prior to enrolling in the graduate program.

Students typically complete the program in five semesters.

Yes. The Davies School of COSD offers graduate assistantships. The graduate assistantships typically support between 30-100%.
