The Davies School of Communication Sciences & Disorders has developed a community of scholars including faculty, staff and students. Our faculty are clinical experts who lead the creation of new knowledge in their areas through programs of original research. A number of faculty research programs seek to develop innovative strategies for evaluating and managing communication disorders. Our faculty have initiated research projects which include interprofessional collaborations with professionals in diverse health care and educational fields. Our faculty also collaborate with a number of departments and centers across campus.
Our faculty take pride in creating research opportunities for students and mentoring student research. Undergraduate Students majoring in Speech-Language Pathology or Habilitation of the Deaf have the opportunity to be involved in research through the Honors College or independent study.
