The Miller Speech & Hearing Clinic at TCU offers a comprehensive range of support options for individuals with speech, language and hearing needs and their families.

This group aims to bring hope, support, education and empowerment to Fort Worth area individuals who stutter.

  • When: Typically, the last Tuesday of the month
  • Where: Miller Speech & Hearing Clinic
  • Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Afasia es un trastorno a consecuencia de una daño al cerebro que resulta en problemas con la el habla y el lenguaje (la expresión, la comprensión, la lectura y la escritura). Este grupo gratis es para adultos que tienen dificultades con el habla y lenguaje a causa de trastornos neurológicos (embolia, demencia, trauma) y sus familias. Las pláticas serán en español e inglés.

This free group is for individuals who have communication difficulties due to neurological illness or injury, such as stroke, dementia or traumatic brain injury, and their families. Discussions are conducted in English and Spanish.

  • When: The first Wednesday of every month (except January and July)
  • Where: Miller Speech and Hearing Clinic
  • Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The S-POPS group is a collaborative effort between five Dallas-Fort Worth area speech-language pathologists (SLP) for family members and members of the community who might work with or engage with young children who stutter to provide information, answer questions and build a supportive community.

  • When: Sunday, every other month
  • Where: Varies based on host SLP (the September meeting is held at the TCU
  • Miller Speech & Hearing Clinic)
