What happens if a student does not meet the minimum GPA requirements?

Students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirements for their major will be placed on academic probation and will need to discuss the next steps with their academic advisor to help get back on track. If they continue to be unsuccessful in their major, other areas of study should be explored.
