The Transformation on Healthcare one Team at a Time: Some Observations of What it Takes

Friday, Sept. 29 | 10-11:30 a.m. | BLUU Ballroom and Zoom

The purpose of this activity is to educate and engage working professionals in the science and practice of teamwork. It will offer evidence-based observations on the state of the teamwork journey since the 1999 Institute of Medicine report on medical error. The observations are translational statements summarizing the body of knowledge in teamwork. Team training works, but it’s not a panacea, and more is needed to transform one team at a time.
