TCU Nursing seniors combine forces to establish a new, forward-thinking student organization, Frogs for CRNAs.
Designed to bridge the gap between undergraduate nursing students and the advanced practice role of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), co-founders Grace LeBlanc and Savannah Eng hope that nursing students who join gain unparalleled insight into the CRNA profession and uncover the clear and structured pathways to becoming a CRNA.
Frogs for CRNAs strives to facilitate connections with the nurse anesthesia program at TCU, as well as create a welcoming space for students interested in a further their nursing education,” said Leblanc.
Members have exclusive access to a wealth of resources, including expert-led workshops, networking events with established CRNAs, as well as hands-on experiences that provide a real-world understanding of the nurse anesthetist’s role.
LeBlanc and Eng say this is not just an organization; it’s a community where students can ask burning questions, receive mentorship from professionals in the field and build lasting relationships with peers who share the same career aspirations.
