Monday, August 26: Emily Lund, associate professor of communication sciences and disorders at the Davies School of Communication Sciences & Disorders at TCU, explores the comparison between the lexical–semantic organization in children who are deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) using spoken language with that of children with typical hearing.
Tuesday, August 27: Carol Howe, the Paula R. & Ronald C. Parker endowed professor at the School of Nursing, discusses her research in assessing the effectiveness of community coaches and enhancing diabetes knowledge among diabetic agricultural workers in the Texas Panhandle.
Wednesday, August 28: Robyn Trocchio, associate professor of sport and exercise psychology in the Department of Kinesiology at TCU, shares her research on the viability of mobile digital imaging analyses (DIA) for assessing body image distortion and dissatisfaction.
Thursday, August 29: Mary Twis, assistant professor of social work in the Department of Social Work at TCU, shares her research on sex trafficking survivor-advocate coping strategies, offering insights for enhancing service provision and policy.
Friday, August 30: Josh Carr, former assistant professor of neuromuscular physiology in the Department of Kinesiology at TCU, shares his research findings on sex differences in performance fatigability in certain exercises, specifically, resistance training.
