Harris College is excited to congratulate Nada Elias-Lambert, Ph.D., department chair and associate professor of social work, on her recent, well-deserved appointments that will help advance the field of social work.

I am excited to serve as a member of this Council to both support upcoming leaders in social work education and to continue exploring research related to leadership at a national level,” highlighted Elias-Lambert.

TCU Nada Elias-LambertElias-Lambert has been named to the Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Council on Leadership Development for a three-year term. In this role, she’ll play a key part in developing policies and programs that support and grow the next generation of diverse leaders in social work education.

She has also joined the leadership team for the Build Healthy Relationships to End Violence (BHREV) Social Work Grand Challenge. As a network co-lead, she will help advance efforts that increase access to services and research, aiming to build stronger, healthier relationships and prevent violence.

I am thrilled to serve on this leadership and continue to support national efforts to increase the availability of services and evidence-based research that strengthens healthy relationships to prevent and end violence in our communities," she shared.

These appointments are a testament to Elias-Lambert’s dedication to leadership, education and community well-being. We are incredibly proud to celebrate her achievements!
