TCU Dyamond BellHarris College is excited to announce the arrival of Dyamond Bell, DNP, MSN, RN, RNC-NIC, as the new assistant professor of professional practice in TCU Nursing.

Originally from Monroe, La., Bell’s journey into nursing has been driven by a deep passion for helping others, defining her distinguished career.

Academic and Professional Excellence

Bell brings a wealth of academic and professional experience to TCU.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Louisiana-Monroe, a Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing with a specialization in leadership and management from Walden University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in educational leadership from American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Post University.

Her career has spanned notable roles such as Nursing Faculty Coordinator at Dallas College and Tarrant County College and NICU Unit Supervisor at Medical City Arlington, among other health care facilities.

Bell’s research focuses on student success, simulation and evidence-based practice. She is currently working on publishing a study that evaluates the effectiveness of student success workshops on academic self-efficacy.

She looks forward to enhancing student engagement through innovative teaching methods and contributing to the development of academic courses and is eager to support student extracurricular activities and engage with the TCU community.
